Your argument would be more convincing if you didn't type like a freaking retard. You lost controll because you're a dumbass, not because you are addicted.

Kind of like this guy I know who did coke a few times but quit, whihc proves that there's no such thing as coke addiction.

The truth is, pretty much anything can be addictive, depending on how a person uses it. There's at least a couple of people who have died as a result of being addicted to video games.

For example, this man, who died after playing starcraft for a week with very little sleep or food, eventually giving in to heart failure. It probably would have happened earlier, but he had a job up until just before the incident, when he was fired because he missed too much work to play video games.

It does exist, but I wouldn't say it's a statistically significant problem that warrants any sort of political attention.

What would YOU do for a presidential Klondike bar of electoral defeat? HUH? PUNK?
If you're havin' girl problems, I feel bad for you son. I got 99 problems, with bitches < 1%

I'm sorry but please look to page 2 of this topic and you will see some studies that do prove the increased risk of agitation and violence (you probably saw studies on non violent games if you found the opposite).

Damn, died playing starcraft. I don't have the patience to play most RTS games for even two hours (cuz I'm terrible at them). It seems that some people don't get tired of video games as quickly as others. For me two hours is the maximum I can play before I get sick of what I'm doing and have to walk away. Clearly, the man just loved his zerglings too much and he didn't want to abondone the hive and leave his legions to fend for themselves.

Of course everyone knows that Blizzard doesn't make their games addictivly good because they want to optimize the experience for the gamers or to sell more copies. It's really because they're a bunch of soul eating monsters that are cackling behind their blood soaked desks as they watch helpless children waste away into nothingness while playing their wonderfully evil games.

That doesn't make any sense at all. The human body can go three weeks withou food. There has to more to this story than video games.

Personally I think that it's a personality thing, I mean one of the recent arguments against caniubs use is it causing mental ill healt, well I know people who have been using it at least all of my life and are fine, but there are people who perhaps were genetically, or personallity predesposed to have that kind of lingering problem. The same goes for video gamming, if you are perhaps a person who has a naturally addictive personality then it may be there anyway, but at least they are hooked on games, not booze, or hard drugs.

That's just my thoughts
