Sorry, but I'll ask again: I can't figure out how to put gradients in transparent backgrounds ie, shadows. Any help?

I dont think your explaining yourself right...
If your Using Photoshop, you can just add a layer effect called "Drop Shadow"
Or you could use a ghetto method and just make a duplicate of the image and put it on a bottom layer just beneath the original, then Make its transparency about 25% and just move it down and right a couple times, it will give you a shadow effect. Im not qute sure what your trying to do, or what program you are using.

Yes yeas, I know HOW to make the shadow, but when exporting, it shows up as a solid, NOT showing the transparancy. Only the gradients that go over the transparent BG do this.

What program are you using, and are you exporting as a gif or jpeg?

Photoshop CS2, and it's a gif. I know, I have no idea why it isn't working, I'll show you an example in a bit.
