It's really easy to do, but each block is a new layer, so it's alot of layers in the end.
I'll just post a small tutorial here... but I call shotgun patent! lol

*Photoshop Tutorial*
1) Get the picture of whatever you want
2) Select your Rectangular Marquee Tool
3) Make a small square anywhere
4) Have the layer of the picture selected and press CTRL + C, CTRL + V (Copy and paste)
5) You should have a new layer, which is your block you just cut-out.
5) Select Layer > Layer Style > Drop Shadow
*Optional* - Mess around with the drop shadow if u wish, otherwise leave it be
6) Select Stroke
7)1px Black Border and press OK
8) Right-click the 'F' on that layer > Copy Layer Style
9) Repeat steps 2 - 4
10) Right-click on your newest square > Paste Layer Styles
Continue as much as you want
