Comic-Con 2006 Wrap-up: Spidey, Transformers, Snakes, Oh My!
G4 just got back from Comic-Con 2006, and boy are our arms tired! First off, we want to thank Toyota for loaning us the sweet, decked-out Yaris for the weekend. The girls liked it so much...let's just say we spent a lot of time in the back seat. That said, you might want to think about checking out Yaris a bit more yourself.

Introducing the Toyota Yaris. It's designed to surprise, with fresh styling that's surprisingly affordable...performance that doesn't sacrifice incredible fuel economy...and interior space and versatility remarkable for a car its size. It's available as a liftback or as a sedan. One's a little funkier. The other, more on the sophisticated side.

The 2007 Yaris. It's a real surprise. Maybe even a shock. Toyota. Moving Forward.

News Aplenty

As you well know, Comic-Con is becoming the place where film studios come to tout their next project. More blockbuster announcements are made at Comic-Con than at any other time of the year. Comic-Con 2006 was certainly no different. Check out some of what came out this year:

Peter Cullen, the original voice of Optimus Prime, is being cast in that role in the new Michael Bay Transformers movie, to be released on July 4th, 2007. The producer of Transformers stopped by to give us an exclusive.

Footage from Spider-Man 3 was shown, and Sam Raimi revealed that there will not be a Hobgoblin character, but a new Goblin-based baddie that Harry Osbourn will play. Check out Blair Butler's coverage of Spider-Man 3, including interviews with the cast.

In a coup, Attack of the Show was able to get an exclusive interview with Snakes on a Plane star Samuel L. Jackson, who had a lot to say about what will likely be the surprise hit of 2006.

Of course, there was comic news and notes as well, including the announcement that My Name is Earl will become a title later this year, and a whole new line of toys and collectibles on the market. In fact, Wil O'Neal had the opportunity to check out all the cool toys, and this is what he came up with.

And don't forget to check out G4's Comic-Con 06 website - its filled to the brim with videos, articles, photo galleries and more!

As you can see, Comic-Con was a whole lot of fun, and it's going to change the face of entertainment for the next year. Who can tell what will happen at Comic-Con 2007? No one knows, but you can bet that G4 will be on hand to tell you all about it!

Until next year...

I got to be in two of those ^^. Those were all awesome. I played/watched all of those, and they were amazing. It's nice to see the quality of Newgrounds is improving this rapidly.
