He united a country that was devided. He freed Germany from the unfairness that the Versallies treaty put on them. What makes he a great leader was how he got all of Germany to fight a war and the civilans to support the war, and he was gonna win it if he had not made crucial mistakes.

I have to agree, the Versailles act was horrible, and that ignited WWII. But he got the citizens of Germany to support him through brainwashing. They would have listened to any perverse person that would tell them what they want.

Germany was extremely broke, and had a huge depression. Hitler promised to bring back their glory, their riches, their military. If anyone had the wacked out mind and balls to do that, the whole country would have believed them too.

Sure, I guess you can say that Hitler helped his country in some material ways. But, obviously you are not looking at the whole picture. He massacred millions of Jewish people, gypsies, and others he thought insuperior to him. Near the end of the war, he recruited and sent out 12 year old boys to fight as his soldiers. He pushed his "master race" and believed they would reign for a thousand years.

Sure, I am interested in Hitler, and I have enough humor in me to joke about him and not be offended by his ways. But, there is no way in hell that you can say everything he did was godlike and bettered the outcome of the world today.
