I came across that song the other day. I think it's kind of sad how the artist admits in his comments that it's not his, yet refuses to get past the fact that he broke the rules. Apparently all he cares about is people enjoying a song he didn't write.

I also made the exact same cover...to prove a point. No, it is not a "midi" instrument, it was probably reason, or some other very real sounding VST for Fruity loops or some program like that. But make NO mistake. It was a midi RIP, imported into one of those programs, and the VST instruments simply substituted for what was originally supposed to be there. If you like, I can email you the version I made, just to show you. Or anyone else for that matter.
