The top 30 is determined completely randomly. I wouldn't worry too much about it.

Why did my song "Raise Your Weapon (DJ Dela Remix)" got deleted, even after I removed the vocals, so there was nothing in it that was against copyright?
Just upload it again.
P.S. When you re-upload it, make sure you've removed everything that is copyrighted. No part of the orignal Deadmau5 track can be used. 0%. In short, don't use the other parts of Deadmau5's track either.

Yeah I know that, I was just wondering about the vocals at first, but I know those are forbidden too.

A Garageband loop or some kind of loop I've definitely heard before is right there in the background so this one should be examined.

Lol, you mean that ball loop, right? It gets used in so many songs, if were to post every song here that contains that loop, good luck! :)

My ban got lifted, but as I see, mods deleted my remake of the song "Satisfaction".
I don't see why is that hard to believe that I created the melody myself.
I even have a walkthrough video, so please whoever deleted the song, watch this, and tell me if I may post it again, because I think it's not against copyright.

Well it's clear that you created the synth yourself, but the main problem is the vocals you used. Those came from the original song.

I will discuss this with other mods today. For now, though, you should just be happy your ban was reversed -- we could have left you banned because of the vocals in "Satisfaction." Regardless of whether or not you removed them and re-uploaded the song, you still broke the AP rules in the first place. Most people don't get a second chance once they've been banned, and for that you should be grateful.

Brokendeck has been going back through this thread removing old songs; figured I'd start to do the same.

Listened to the original (from KH2) and the 'remake,' and the remake is indeed different. The piano in the remake has a stronger, more resonant bass (sounds like a Bosendorfer 290, and, if I'm correct, then it's QLSO Pianos), whereas the original is lighter and tinnier. If you listen to the cello, too: the attacks are different, legato slurs are quieter. The mixing is just generally different.
I'll have a couple other mods listen to it, but - at least for now - I have to say it's a legit remake.

Yeah, the sampling is a major part of that song...

No, but there's a lot of sampling of "I am Turok!" in the middle of the song, which is against the rules.

40 votes at like top 5 in dusbtep.
That's allowed. Both of the original songs are from Newgrounds, and thus all three are released under the same CC license (which permits sampling, etc.) as long as credit is given to the original artists (which it is).

What you are about to submit must be your own original work.
Nah, it's alright, I'll just rap on some guy's track cuz I'm a boss.
Thank you, that's been added to the mod list.

This is Cee-Lo Green's beat, and him singing after this guy just raps 16 bars? Come on..
Cee-Lo Green: Fuck You
Click to listen.
This is a copyrighted beat they stole from Nikki Minaj's song, Shitted On 'Em, on her album "Pink Friday". All they did was rap terribly over it.

This is also a copyrighted beat from Lil' Wayne's song with Rick Ross, called John (If I Die). This is on his Carter IV album. Once again, all they did was rap on it?

This is also another ridiculous one like the Cee-Lo Green track. This isn't his beat, all he did was rap 1 16 bar verse over it and the rest of it is copyrighted material from 50 Cent, E40, and Too Short. I mean come on guys? This guy gotta go.

This is his first ever submission. I'm surprised it got past you all in the first place...
The beat he "rapped" over here is from 50 Cent's movie's soundtrack: Get Rich or Die Tryin'.
Tony Yayo: Fake Love
There are so many more in his collection that are just like those I listed above. I'm 100% certain that some if not all of those are against the rules. I honestly didn't feel like going through everything he had because I believe 99% of the beats he uses are copyrighted by famous artists.
Also, the CeeLo track has been deleted once already, but he re-uploaded it and didn't change a single thing. Now, call me crazy.. but I'm 100% sure that's against the rules.
I just thought I'd let you all know.

Carl Orff - Carmina Burana - O Fortuna (Fortuna Imperatrix Mundi) original and the voice sample sounds like it from Globus's cover (I don't remember which song)

Really? "Mozart"?
That's an insult to late Romantic classical. I bet anyone who has listened to the original Carmina Burana would be able to tell the thing has no resemblance to anything of Mozart's time, even the religious music Orff tied some of it to...
The Carmina Burana isn't in the open domain either, because it isn't 70 years after Orff's death, so folks need to realize not all classical is in the open domain. Even if it was, most recordings are copyrighted anyway, which would be 70 years after the recording, I believe. :P

I heard O Fortuna everywhere and just know that it belongs to Carl Orff. The name... I spent a good amount of time on Wikipedia to find the name.
Indeed it is Romantic era music. Shame on me I only remember Cour d'amours (part 3) of Carmina Burana, which I know most of the movements' names in this part.
Even if it was, most recordings are copyrighted anyway, which would be 70 years after the recording, I believe. :P
I'm not talking about the composition's copyrights. And seems like most people are fine with remaking Classical music into some weird shit. I don't mind that as long as people do not use the copyrighted records of either covers and/or remixes from others.
This guy ripped the vocals straight from Globus's album and put some 'beatz' in. He didn't even bother removing the timpani hits.
And the rest of his tracks are pretty much the same as this one. Stolen shits.

Samples MLK's "I Have a Dream" speech and I'm pretty sure Brokendeck told me that sampling like that is against the rules.
Yes, the King estate legally owns that speech and the recording(s) of it. They successfully sues CBS over ownership rights if I remembered correctly.
You would think that a famous speech like that belongs to the public domain, but it actually doesn't.
