He didn't steal, it's just the same chord progression, and even if it was a Re mix as you seem to think, that would require that he used parts from the original.
Exactly, and not only that, but the songs are in a different key and a different tempo. Even if he did use sounds from the original, there's no problem with that because all music in the Audio Portal is royalty-free and you don't face any copyright issues when using Audio Portal music in your music.
Obviously, there's still the fact that you need to put effort into the submission (if we don't allow mixing premade loops together without any of your own work put into the submission, then we certainly won't allow the same thing except with Audio Portal music instead) but if, for instance, you take an Audio Portal song, and add your own drums to it (note: your own drums, not premade drum loops), then that should be perfectly fine. And naturally it's always courteous to ask the artist first if you can use his music/parts of his music in your music.
In any case, I doubt Bafana even had any intention of making his melody sound like Glorious Morning, and my point is that even if he did, there's no problem with that.
Also, ssmb212, not to sound like I'm backseat modding but as far as I know the review you left on his submission is against the rules - I'd suggest making it a point to never mention if a submission breaks the rules in your review, because, like what has happened here, if you're wrong and the submission doesn't break the rules then not only are you undeservingly reducing the user's overall review score, but you're giving a bad impression of the submission to other people.
Anyhow I hope that's cleared up :).
