Am I a furry? No, but as a cartoonist, one occasionally dabbles in human-animal critters.

We have gone past more heartfelt devotions of furries, look at Egyptian gods, Greek myths (Pan and Circes) and in an even more modren sense, Bugs Bunny.

We could indeed cull this as a sick fetish, but note that at one point, most sexual perversions were deemed even more lewd than they are now. Though the key word remains "perversion". I neither condem, nor condole "furries" as it were, but would seek an honest discussion as to how these folks feel that they satiate the need of the beast in costumes.

Let's look at the two points of the arguement.

Furries are harmful, and wrong. Indeed, this seems that the world would be better off if no man layed down with a sheep. As such, the US government has stated, and passed laws which prevent cruelty to animals, and specifically mention Beastiality. However, the arguement t this point can not truly be raised as towards harm to humans, as during intercourse, a human would be least likely to sustain any sort of wounds(excluding porcupines).We should then go to the point that furries deal no harm to themselves, but rather may harm the animals, as the parts don't really fit.The anti-furries have a point in the fact that sex could really hurt an animal if done.
We also have the arguement that it is morally wrong,
we could go towards the Biblical statement that, "Man shall not hunger for the strange flesh."(paraphrased)Indeed, animals would qualify as strange flesh. It's my part to argue on socitie's vantage point.

Now, furries are fine, and healthy arguement. People have a right to privacy, if we invade that, we have no sense of telling them that they are wrong. It may boil down to whether or not they do this in public, or on the internet. In the home, it is just that, their home, not ours, and we may have to respect that.
If it's on the internet, it's partially open to the public, but this does not mean most of the time that we stumble across it. We in a sense may be searching for something else, and find these 'furries'.God knows I get like five spams a day about farm loving.
