Many of you know of Paul Reubens as his famous alter-ego , Pee-wee Herman. He had his own kid's show that allowed him total creativity over what was on it. That show ,Pee-Wee's Playhouse lasted 5 years. It was a great run.

After his show being over, he was arrested. He was caught masturbating in an adult theater during a showing of "nurse nancy". Once again, he was arrested, this time for possesion of child pornography. He said he was a collector of erotic artwork.

His last appearance as Pee-Wee was on mtv. Being the butt end of jokes, he asked the audiance "hear any good joke lately?"

I love his sense of humour. His show was the only children's show that adults could watch. And blazed shitless teenagers.

Also, he did work with Cheech and Chong in several of their movies, his most notable role being the Hamburger Man (nothing to do with actual hamburgers)

I really wouldn't think that masturbating in an adult theatre is a serious crime, but people act like he's some huge pervert because of it. Despite the fact that I don't think what he first got nailed for was as serious as it was made out to be, possession of child pornography is another story.

He was on Late Nights With Conann O'Brien a few weeks ago, and PW's PH is showing on adult swim... and inm my time zone, it will be on in an hour... and the child pornography charge wasn't realy for child pornaography, it was classic paintings depicting children that were centuries old... and we was proved innocent by the court

That sucks for him. Even though he did something wrong, everyone deserves a second chance, and it is downright despicable to make a joke about someone who does what many other people do.

The Supreme Court ruled that child pornograghy is legal
if it is artwork such as japanese anime, female form robots etc.
Because there are no child victims.

I grew up watching Peewee's Playhouse a lot of creative minds end up that way or go crazy sometimes. I still love watching that show when I flip past it on tv, or if I come across one of those old tapes from long ago. Besides, to me when I was a kid - Peewee was real and so was his awesome playhouse.

I'm amazed how he can pull off using two basically opposite character voices during the frame of one sentence as Pee-Wee and it doesn't sound off at all. He uses that goofy high-pitched voice and that low grumbly voice perfectly timed so it doesn't come off retarded. He's crazy.
