Last year, I went to my friend's birthday party. He was 13. We watched that movie. I felt sick.

So, you were expecting a movie about a talking orange cat to be geared towards adults? Know your target audience.

You're all wrong. The movie's have got Jennifer Love Hewitt in them, so they're an istance win.

I hate the garfield movies

Garfield sucks in comics and on screen. the only way garfield is funny is if you remove his thought bubbles:

I agree with Ebert usually, but in recent years he's gone a bit senile. I think it's time you let someone take over, Rog. make it "Maltin and Roeper" or something.

Ebert's brought many anime movies to attention of the public, given thumbs up in the past to movies that some other film critics didn't like but later became classic (i.e. Raging Bull). He's also a Kevin Smith Fan: he gave 3 stars to Clerks and Jay and Silent Bob, and 3 and a half to Dogma and (i think) chasing amy.

that's in the past though. he's just gotten a bit senile. i mean, he liked The Honeymooners movie.
