I was wondering. I want a flash portal for my website, and does anyone know the HTML script for the portal? Id really Appreciate it

You need to be able to actual program. You want to learn a sever-side scripting language, and use it with a database.

I recommend PHP and MySQL. Check out PHP: Main in my sig.

I'd suggest learning PHP and mySQL. Here's a good place to learn from - it's really helped me.

Oh? Care to explain more? Since you need a server-side programming language to communicate with the server and process data. AJAX can do that as a client-side lanuage but it still requires server-side files.

No, file uploads are imposible to do with javascript. You can make guestbooks and chats but no flash portals/file uploads.

To the topic starter: I suggest you learn PHP or ASP/ASP.net at W3schools.

if he'd used a search engine to find html tutorials, he probably wouldn't have needed to post here, as he would have realised html's abilities and uses. i learned everything i know using a search engine and a few helpful websites. i never asked stupid questions in a forum, i didn't need to. i don't see why anybody else should.
