Just saw the 10:30 and it's probably my first or second Kevin Smith film, right up there with Chasing Amy. I actually liked it a bit more than the original Clerks. All the scenes with Jay were fucking hilarious.

Been wanting to see it very badly.

Glad to see that most of you like it. I was thinking it might not be that great.

To this day, nobody has made me laugh more than Jay on Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back. Clerks was alright. Dogma was cool but didn't match up to that movie.

"What the fuck is the internet?" is the best line ever.

And the fact that they spend the bluntman and chronic movie money they made to go to people's houses and kick there asses for talking shit about them (even though the people were talking about the movie). And one the people said "If Jay and Silent Bob were real, I'd beat the shit out of them for being so stupid!"

Seriously, that whole sequence had me laughing so hard I was having trouble breathing. Heinie Troll!! Randall's reaction shots were just classic. But it wasn't just funny, the dramatic parts were also brillant. The prison conversation was a masterpiece, it's good to see the characters have evolved since Clerks. The only thing I didn't like was the cheesy montage at the end and the last line:

"This is the beggining of our lives"

Uuughh... But it didn't ruin the overall experience. I'm glad I got up early in the morning to catch the first presentation, and I might go see it a second time.

Oh, and the Silence of the Lambs reference was classic...
"Uh...Is that my surprise?" LOL!!

I would be straight to a cinema to see Clerks 2, but unfortuantely I live in the UK, and unless it's been incredibly badly promo'd, it's not out here. DVD here I come.

My favorite parts were the Jay and Silent Bob ones, and the Porch Monkey-racist bit :P
Wonder if there'll be a 3rd one, or another J & SB movie ;0

I swear to god, the first ten minutes made up for Jersey Girl. Kevin Smith really does deserve credit for staying true to the original when making this movie so many years later.

For those who haven't seen it, I personally enjoyed this movie more than Pirates. And since my opinion is the only one that counts I say you all go drop some cash and watch this lovely bit of cinema.

I miss my donkey. Classic.

I kind of hope not, because anything else will just be disappointing after this movie. Besides, I felt that Kevin Smith tied off all the loose ends of the story and the ending of this movie was perfect, starting the New Jersey saga on a 'down' and turning a complete 180 in the end.

Tell your mom to buy you a ticket then she can buy a ticket to see another movie while you're watching Clerks. that's what I did.
