wow i havent posted here in a wile...
ne way, i am currently using a 3d program (swift 3d 4.5) and i thought i could try insted of exporting frames to flash, i thought i could try freehand of making a 3d scene, i had a quick experement (2-5 mins) on making 3d without a 3d progam and here it is, how does it look, give me tips to edit it (if it needs doing up).

Shading was ok, but the objects did look a bit... well...... disfigured. What are they meant to be?

it doesn't look 3d at all in my opinion. 3d has a Z axis and flash alone has X and Y axis so instead of trying to draw 3d create a Z axis then try and draw something in 3d

Let me make one thing clear. THERE WAS NO E-V-O-L-U-T-I-O-N!

To make 3d in 2d, you can't just draw frozen pictures. You need to animate the perspective to show (as mentioned earlier) the Z axis.

It's easy, but the further you get with your movie/contraption/experiment, the more details you want to add, and then it easily get's complicated due to the million layers you need to change, everytime you change the camera a single bit.

But in my oppinion, 3d made in flash looks better than 3d made in a 3d program, since no one can actually figure out how to make anything look good in those programs.

You should take a look at the remade version of Pico, for some inspiration.

is there any programs that can import 3d modals into flash apart for swift and its free?
