After some much needed re-organizing, I now have this.
It's so much better :D I re-adjusted the size and positions of my screenlets sidebar, changed the color scheme to a custom black and green set, blurred the translucent titlebars, and switched from a desktop cube to a desktop wall

I control what I put in there, most if it is stuff I use regularly. It's also hidden all the time, I set it so the dock pops up when I move my mouse down to it.
