Latest desktop.. I like this one :)

Transparency and stuff
Transparent Rotating Desktop Cube (This is cool)
Desktop with menu open
Wobbly Konqueror Window, and transparency
Peeling back a maximised Konqueror Window to reveal windows behind it
Cycling through windows with Alt+Tab
Using window scaling to select a windows ( Much better than the taskbar )

All the screenshots you just saw were taken on Gentoo Linux 2.6.15-gentoo-r1 ( http://gentoo.org ) running KDE ( http://kde.org ) and using Beryl ( http://beryl-project.org ) for the 3d/transparency effects.

All shots are in 1280x1024 JPG format

I'd show my Ubuntu desktop, if I weren't too lazy to log off and get back on. I cycle between two main backgrounds, depending on whether I feel like FLCL or awesome lightning shots.

Of course, you can just press the "print screen' button to save an image, and paste it into paint, or photoshop. Then just post the image.
