All you need to do is make folders for each category of item on your desktop, then drag and drop. Just don't make it too articulate or you'll have 50 different folders for each item on your desktop.

Or, if you want your desktop to be bare, you could make folders in the My Documents and move everything there, so the only thing that has to be on your desktop is the recycle bin. And I do believe there is a hack to remove that from your desktop as well.

I turned off Bumptop and installed Rainmeter, but I can't find any good themes for it. So my desktop is bare. Custom theme.
