MGS isnt that good as Twin Snakes with out the cutsceens lasts about 90 minuets. its nearly like spending £30 on a DVD.

I loved MGS3 subsistence I thought it was greateven though The Sorrow fight was interesting (although you can bypass it with a trick) Looking forward for the MGS on the psp the one with the actual plot not that crap like AC!D with the cards and four looks awesome since that is the end of the series and raiden was killed and brought back to life as a robot ninja so he looks much different It may not be the best game but definitly one of the best series ever

First of all, Twin Snakes sucks. All it is a remake of the original game which is infinitely better because:
A) In Twin Snakes they replaced some of the voice actors.
B) In Twin Snakes they completely got rid of the original soundtrack.
C) In Twin Snakes they made it easier to beat.
D) In Twin Snakes they rewrote the script. There's even a Legend of Zelda reference in there.
E) In Twin Snakes it is insanely easy to beat the torture.
F) In Twin Snakes they ruined one of the most serious scenes in the game by adding Mario and Yoshi dolls in the background. As if that weren't enough, for a few seconds, the dolls TAKE the spotlight.

The only good thing about Twin Snakes is the awesome graphics.

I havent personally played Twin Snakes so I cant say for sure..but I do know the game would suck if all the things above were true.. I mean the hell....the torture is one of the hardest things in all the games Ive played...and if the voice actors is bad everythings quickly turns very bad...but even if the graphics were better I wouldnt have made up to all the bad things about it.

the voice actors are awesome... adn the mario and yoshi things are funny.... also the gamecube AND eternal Darkness stuff... posters girl in mag....

They're not technically bad, like David Hayter still does Snake's voice. They did, however, change Meryl's voice actor.

MGS3 was the best MGS of all of them(in my opinion)

I've got GTA3, Vice City, and SA, and I hate them all. They're all the same, they all have dumberfucker AI, they're all fugly, they're all repetative, they all get tons of publicity for "being contrevertial". God damn it, Blinx the Timesweeper is more contrevertial!

Metal Gear Solid is easily one of the best games of all time. I’ve played MGS Sons Of Liberty and a little of MGS Snake Eater. Both blew me away. I havent yet played MGS Twin Snakes but I hope to soon.

Played all of them. I didn't like 2 realy much but 3 was awsome. I only wish I could have goten mgs3 substance though. once I get a ps3 im going to get 4

i too loved metal gear solid:twin snakes. it was more of a movie than a game cuz u would shoot a guy, then watch an hour cutscene, then u would shoot ocelot,then an hour cutscene lol. but ya it had a great storyline like loz:oot

some peeps thought that was a bad thing.. i thought it equaled it out and made it better

A: not true, only one voice actor was replaced, the voice of the cyborg ninja was done by a different person. in the original it was done by the same person as the darpa chief believe it or not.

B: they got rid of the psone soundtrack because it's very bland and repetitive, i have it and ive listened to it... not as finely tuned as the later games because harry gregson williams didnt do the first game at all.

C: true although the guards are a lot smarter than in the original, the sons of liberty controls do make it easier.

D: there's only a legend of zelda reference if psycho mantis finds a zelda save on your gamecube game card, for me it was super smash brothers melee instead of zelda. in the original he will mention other hideo kojima games if you have them on your memory card but they are very hard to find outside of japan.

F: yeah sure the scene that you're talking about is the same one where Otacon explains he became a scientist because of anime... very serious... in the original there is a ps one in his office instead of a gamecube.

anyway i've beaten all the MGS games well except for the side stories and they're all just like HOLY FUCKIN SHIT you know what i mean but i dont want to pay 660 dollars plus tax for the fourth one considering it will be the only good game for the ps3 for a while and it's not even out until 2007.
