i own a gamecube and recently my freind has lent me MGS: twin snakes... i was new to the mgs series and it started off a bit fiddly and weird... but then i got to adapted to it and now i think its the best game ever!!!! honestly the graphics are pretty decent and it has an awesome storyline... I hope to god they release a cequel on the nintendo Wii

I just defeated ninja for the first time and have to find meryls ass and meet her in the girls toilets... :P

well sorry dude but I have playstation and I haven't played twin snakes but i've played 3 and beat it and that was one of the best games i've ever played

If you thought twin snakes was good youd shit yourself if you played snake eater

twin snakes is like the first one... check out sons of liberty, and snake eater.

I've played MGS: 2 and 3, they both rock although I much prefer Snake Eater. I agree that Metal Gear is a great game, but I doubt it's the best game ever.

And if you shit yourself when you played Snake Eater, than you'd have to buy a new carpet if you played Subsistance, which is the kick ass version of Snake Eater.
It's basically got a way better camera and a whole bunch of extra features, many that are quite hillarious, and online play. It's worth replaying the game with all the new stuff they put in.

I don't know about the best game ever, but the ending of MGS 3 was the only game that ever almost made me shed a tear. ALMOST I SAY!!

I havn't played Sons Of Liberty yet but I want to so much. I can't find it anywhere!!! Does anyone know where I could buy/rent it?

my freind got 3 but its 4 xbox.. but he says its scray... likes it real and stuff....

I've seen Sons Of Liberty on Ebay, maybe you should check it out. I used to have Substance, it was good, but it kinda gets boring after you beat it several times until you collect enough dogtags to get the stealth camo and kick everyone's ass easily.

I've been trying to get a friend of mine to play MGS Twin Snakes on his Gamecube also, so far he still hasen't.

I'm borrowing MGS III: Subsistence right now... first time messin with the series. Pretty neat game, but all those lame poses the bad guys keep hittin are incredibly gay. And the dude that meows? Ninja please.

Comparing how much I enjoyed them.
MGS1 is a hell of alot better.

i loved this series since mgs 1 and i played metal gear babel as well, its great for the time.
its groundbreaking: stealth, strategy, shooting and a great plot, that with excellent graphics and brilliant gameplay (you can play the same part for hours)
its legendary.

Someone PM me the ending of MGS...i don't have a PS2 anymore so i can't play it and Pm it because it's a spoiler and people start moaning.

I agree it is the best game ever! I have been addicted to it ever since the first one came out for the PS1. Hell, Its paused on my PSP right this moment.

He is one of the most supremely awesome bosses in history, so brace yourself.

A little funny tidbit about that battle, though.. keep an eye on the pictures of the creators behind Psycho Mantis during the cut scene, it's pretty amusing what happens to them.

Anyhoo, you really need to play the rest of the series. Especially before MGS4 comes out.

It's a good game. But to call something the best game ever is all a matter of opinion.

Oooh in metal gear solid 3(snake eater) you finish the game after saving some chick and she double crosses you and steals like billions of dollars worth of info(forgot the name of it) and she tells you about how your ex boss/best friend betrayed you because she had to follow her orders and then you become big boss after some amazing fight and then a even more amazing cut scene

Well its definatly the best game of its kind, I cleared the first game on EXTREME and it challenges both mind and patience, havent played MGS 2 very much though, but Snake Eater is one of the, if not the best game Ive ever played. It has it all, the story is really really good and its very intressting because its about what happened before the first one. The boss system is fantastic, I had to fucking hide hanging down a cliff fighting ocelot because he shot me so much I didnt have anywhere else to wait for my wounds to heal. In short very good games indeed.
