This is the airsoft gun I have (SM-6 Spring rifle), it's pretty cool and I got it cheap.
Its not exactly as it is in the picture, as most of mine is orange. I don't know where I can play though D:

Took that break that I've been needing. I think it helped a lot. Took a few weeks off from practice all together, got mostly caught up financially, and feel like practicing again. I actually went to play some woodsball for the first time in a long time. I went with none of my gear, rented a gun, hopper, CO2 tank, mask and jumpsuit. I felt a lot more at ease when I was playing in that gear. No pressure. No attention. Just out there to have a good time.

I've been getting some requests about showing pictures of my gun off, so I guess I'll do that. Mostly the same gun as last time I posted it (like a year ago, I think?) but got some much needed upgrades. Now has a:

Dynasty Body kit
Dynasty grips
NDZ Trigger frame (Scorpion it's called)
NDZ Firing chamber
NDZ Breech
NDZ Skeleton bolt
NDZ Blade trigger
Redz Clamping feed neck
14" or 16" freak barrel
CP Bottomline ASA
Dye Hyper2 regulator
APE board w/ membrane
Lucky ball detentes (I think...)

And here it is...

Here's one of the other side with my 16" green tip barrel. If you were wondering, I left the membrane out of the grips just so that you could see it. The pink thing was proof of crono when I played last, and the blue was the tell what field I was playing at.

Incredilble!I found an airsoft group on NG!
I can't believe it!
The BBS never fails to amaze me!
Anyway l just love airsoft (no, l don't like paintball, l prefer realism over...well, paint), but l find it a bit expensive.
Also, unlike many ppl say, airsoft does not promote violence, on the contrary, if you act like a soldier when you play airsoft, your "gun&killing" needs are satisfied so you don't need to be violent in real life..at least that's my theory :D

I just reecntly got my M4A1 RIS, airsoft, and then modded it (which was cheaper) to make it an HK-416. I got Sopmod sights, and put it on the regular M4 sight's rail
added HK 416 side rails
Took off the side rail covers
Unscrewed the M4 sights, bought sopmod sights, screwed them in
and then told the airsoft store to engrave an HK logo in the gun's metal
then... changed the gearbix to metal the Gearbox. (it was plastic)
Added a ready-clip system, so then I got 2 more clips, one in pocket, one in clip ready , oone in the chamber.

It looks awesome.

It's just running around really fast, shooting anything that moves. I'm more of a tactics man.

And my gun sucks for speedball.
Oh, i see, well u can use tatics in speed ball depending on how much cover there is

Yes, this quote is really old, but no gun is "bad" for speedball. You are bad for speedball. I have played speed ball from DM9's to autocockers to tippmanns to phantom pump markers. And its way more than running and gunning, you have to be aware of your surroundings and make sure you dont get tunnel vision. It involves teamwork and communication, it is just a adrenaline rush.

Also, I would love to join, I actually play on a Semi-Pro scenario team, but IMO i am a bad ass at speedball.

Here, I will list my markers but I am not going to list the specs. Too much.

Tippmann A5
Tippmann C3
Dye Dm8 1 of 30
Dye DM9
Ego 08
Phantom Pump (VSC)
Palmers Double barreled pump-class marker
BT-4 Delta elite
Dynasty Autococker eblade
Smart Parts Vibe (POS)
Smart Parts ION XE

Yes, i have my share of markers. I refuse to sell ANY. About 7,500 USD worth of markers.
And maybe 1,000 worth of N2/HPA tanks...
maybe 500 worth of hoppers.

I love paintball.

Im new to airsoft. My lil bro got a P22 Spring Pistol, and now I want something. I have 70 bucks to spend, but Id prefer to spend no more than 40$ on my first gun. I was thinking about an electronic pistol. I hate my brothers spring.

Hey guys, I was wondering if I could join this club for the airsoft part. I own a M4A1 KWA AEG with a little red dot which replaced my iron sights. I got some money, and I was planning on buying a new 4x zoom ACOG with a classic army silencer. I was also wondering which would be better: A M203 grenade launcher of a forehand grip?

I know I haven't posted anything lately, but I just have to comment on this. You claiming that no gun is bad for speedball is just plain stupid. Yes, the gun doesn't make the player, and yes, a good player can possibly win with anything that shoots straight, but the gun helps a lot for speedball and xball. Let's say that you are given a choice of 2 guns. One being a new DM9 and the other being an early 1990's Tippmann. You are honestly going to tell me that having a smaller, more accurate, faster gun isn't better than a 3bps gun that chops paint and shoots wildly? I know that you didn't say some guns are better, you said no gun is bad. Take any gun manufactured before 1988 and tell me the length and speed are good for speedball.

Anyone who plays speedball competitively knows that you want to stay small and fast. Carrying a gun that's 2 feet long, not including barrel, nearly 10 lbs with full hopper and inaccurate is a BAD speedball gun. Don't say "A good player can win with anything". Although it's very true that skill wins, not the gun, you can't say no gun is BAD for speedball if you claim to be semi-pro.
no gun is "bad" for speedball. You are bad for speedball. I have played speed ball from DM9's to autocockers to tippmanns to phantom pump markers" just says to me that you are either not who you say you are, or you are trying to sound smart or good or some shit like that. Play even a D3 XBall team with one of your Tippmanns or pumps and then talk about it.

I have played with 98's in a legit 5v5 speedball game. Everyone in this game had at least 1 good sponsor. I play front and play as hard as I can every game, but guess what? When the gun is as heavy, big and awkward to snap with as that, it is a BAD SPEEDBALL GUN. And don't even try to say it's me who's the bad speedball player on this one. I feel safe betting that I will beat most D3 players if we both use our own gun or the same gun.

I guess the bottom line of this whole thing is this:

I couldn't disagree more with your "no gun is "bad" for speedball. You are bad for speedball." comment. Huge, heavy, inaccurate, unreliable and awkward guns are BAD whereas small, light, accurate, fast and comfortable guns are GOOD. Why do you think everyone uses the "GOOD" markers if no gun is bad?

Okay i see what you are saying, even though you are contradicting yourself ALOT. Yes, if your using some shitty ass Tippmann SMG or something along the lines of that, you wont be able to play as tight as others. But i have played speed ball with stock tippmann 68 againts ego's/dye's/PMR's, and my skill was not affected to the point where i could not play correctly.

Infact the first gun i used in speedball a long time ago, was an SL-68 pump. Everybody else was shooting 10 BPS or so, while i was pumping. I was intimidated at first, but i adapted to playing tight with a large marker and adapted to shooting at low speeds. Now i play can play AMAZING with fast BPS because i was raised on slow, strategic timed shots, in one snap.

Im sorry if im not explaining this clear enough, but basically what im saying is if you have TRUE skill (not TRUE BPS) you can play with almost anything and do well. BPS IS NOT EQUAL TO SKILL.

Stock class players FTW you skilled bastards.

I have a question. Which is better, a Dye i4, or the i3 Pro? I heard that the i3 pro had REALLY hard goggles to change, and the goggles were weak.

So....which is better in terms of ventilation (anti-fogging), protection, hardness, reliability, and weight?

Hey Guys! I am new to newgrounds. But I stumbled into this post and I had to recommend you evike.com if you guys are interested in Airsoft goods. Me and my team of 8 shops there before everyone of our games.

I had been airsofting for almost ten years now, and got all my stuff there. Their store is the size of a super market....kinda crazy to see every airsoft gun you can imagine on the wall. They have very knowledgeable staff and good pricing. Check them out. http://www.evike.com is the site.

Anti-Fogging- Both are perfect with never fogging. The Dye i4 is much smaller though, so if either was to fog first, it would be the i3

Protection-Both keep your vital safe, or else they would not be sold. But with the i4's, you have the chance of getting pegged in the chin if you (A) have a long face, or (B) are yelling/talking when you are hit.

Hardness- The i3's are sorta rubbery, as the i4s are a harder, tougher plastic.

Weight- i4s are INSANELY LIGHTWEIGHT. You would forget they are there.

Reliability- Anything can be reliable, just take care of your shit. But if you somehow accidentally do something, the i3s are probably more reliable.

Comfort- Personally, i love the i3's. Get some soft ears, and they are one of the most comfortable masks ever.

Final opinion:

If you want to decide, try both on first. Best thing you can do before you buy.

Is the Viewloader Triton 2 a good starter gun? I got it for Christmas and I just started getting into paintball again. Also, i'm going to play on a paintball field with my friends for the first time, that's why i'm asking this question :/. Oh, and yes, i'm a newby at paintball, but I love it so much.

I'm thinking about upgraded the barrel, because I heard the stock barrel is shit. What kind of barrel should I buy?

Also, i'm going to spray paint it orange :D.

Hey, I'm totally new to the airsoft scene. I've already got a £20 pistol, from some "made in china" company, Galaxy or something I think. My uncle lets me use his BEASTY rifle when we go on holiday, and it packs a real punch.
