i have a M4 carbine rifle.one time i was going around a corner and i got shot right on the thumb.my whole thumb went numb instantly.the guy that shot me had a M16 riflr and about 6 or 7 bbs hit me in the same spot.the berrata 92 fs is a really good spring pistol because i used to have 1 but the spring in the clip got lost so you had to cock it upside down.then the piece that was holdin the slide on broke so it broke my gun.

But Rack makes a valid point. Airsoft is illeagl in city limits. Its also almost complely banned in some states like her in MA. Thats why i get all my stuff in NY and NH. Im planning on purchasing a new rifle. Like a real steel M4 from online

Woo! Look what I got in the mail. I ordered it from the Ariakon website and it finally arrived. The Ariakon Overlord RX paintball pistol.
Holds 10 rounds in the magazine, which is spring loaded, and the 12 gram powerlet CO2 gives about 20 - 26 rounds, You can change paint and CO2 separately. It's quite cheap - I got a package for $206 Canadian which included the pistol, three spare magazines, and a holster. This includes shipping.
Best part, it looks badass!
Paintball.
Last week I went to my friend's house to help with a documentary. The documentary was about our paintball team. I answered a lot of questions, as well as the rest of the team. We recorded every little bit of bloopers, screw ups, and everything. We have a TON of game footage that he's going to use. Once it's finished, I'll show you guys.
Sounds great Twone, can't wait to watch it.
I just got back from testing out the pistol, and DAMN, it is LOUD! Imagine my suprise when I loaded in the CO2 powerlet and dryfired it for the first time:
BOOM!
I think this is because I'm shooting hot. The problem is, I have no damn idea how the hell to use the velocity screw! It clicks in and out, but it won't budge when I try to turn it. Perhaps I'll have to get a ref to have a look at it the next time I go paintballing.
Too bad I won't be able to shoot with it in the backyard, I swear this thing could be mistaken for an actual gun going off.
Related question: Can 12 gram powerlets be used with regular paintball guns that have an ASA?

i'm pretty sure the first paintball guns did use 12 gram powerlets

dogstile, you really have to stop needlessly bumping the thread. It will get bumped when we actually have something we want to say on topic. Now...
What type of paint do you guys use? Pictures would be great.
I was curious as to whether anybody has had good experiences with any airsoft grenades, as I want to get one but have only heard terrible things about them...

Holy crap, these things actually exist?! I thought only paintball grenades existed... no matter. I still think that it must hurt like a bitch if you're unfortunate enough to get in the path of one of those. I mean, those things are propelled powerfully enough that the grenade must burst open.

Actually, they have a reputation for being total shit, with a tripwire-controlled "party popper" canister filled with BBs is preferred.

Guess I'll post my gun. It's 99% custom with the only stock part being a useless gauge above the regulator. It's an ion with a black Dye Hyper 2 regulator, Olive Strange body, .45 Empire grips, black CP ASA, black Scorpion Trigger Frame, Olive blade trigger, Black clamping feedneck, Silver Lucky Firing Chamber upgrade, Luck Bolt, Virtue EZ On Green Power Button, Green Halo B with V Board and Rip Drive, 16" Freak barrel with green OR black tip and APE Rampage board (I prefer this over the virtue). More pics coming.
Close up on the frame. Kind of bad lighting so you can't see the olive trigger but trust me, in the right you can't miss it.
VERY shiny Luck Firing Chamber with white Lucky bolt. Works like you wouldn't believe! I would take this combo over any other if only it were in green or olive...
Just showing the APE Rampage board membrane here. Very convenient and very easy to use and program. I would take this over the Virtue ANY day. I tried both for over a month and like the APE more due to the easy programming. If you don't like the mode you're in, just press a button WITHOUT going into the gun...best part of the whole damn thing.
ha i love the idea, so i bit about myself.
my main intrest is woods ball i use a tippman 98 custom with cyclone feed, response trigger, 14 inch wercs barrel a vodo stock and of course a rocket cock(i hate the name)
as for airsoft i just play recreational with my friends and mainly for practice runs for my team (S.O.F) i use the toykyo marui p90 good that thing rips.
well im glad to join the forums!
its easier to go into fantasy if you start in reality, make things familiar then twist em
lol, rocket cock, that name owns, i want one!
i'm putting a "ghetto mod" on my paintball gun, essentially its the top of a small pepsi bottle, spray painted black over the barrel, getting it theres more complicated though
ether way, when its finished, that bottom cap amplifies the hell out of my gun, which ironically acts like a silencer, as they cannot tell where i shot from, also intimidates the hell out of the other team

That sounds like a...really bad idea lmao. Sorry, but I had to say it. As crazy as this may sound, you don't intimidate the other team by making your gun look "ghetto". And they can still find out where you are even if you have it 'silenced' with a Pepsi bottle lol.
Look what I got for my birthday.

Not bad at all. Tippmann X7, right? Nice gun to mod and perfect for special op games and scenario play. Do you have the e grip with that? And is that a laser sight or a flashlight? hard to tell but it looks like a nice addition!

Oh, definetly. I'm going for the Heckler & Kock G36K look. An egrip would be a great addition to it, once I get the cash for it, however. That little attachment is a laser sight, but I'm looking for a tac light just for looks, really.

That's going to look nice. Post pics as soon as you can please. Are you getting an e grip first or are you working on the body and everything else?

Haha, I know exactly what you mean. A while ago I was all about looks and not so much on performance. Luckily, I was able to find a nice balance between the 2.

believe it of not it works, take one shot, duck into cover, ive seen it done, he was the last guy left and he took all of us out because
A: we go by the rule of "dead men do not talk to other dead men"
B: we had no idea where the fuck he was
ether way, the cheap mod works!

I disagree. This group of kids, like 15 or 16, tried that exact same thing. Now, by exact same thing I mean a soda bottle over their barrel. They took one shot and hid again, hoping that no one would see them, obviously. It took me literally 3 minutes from the break to find them and kill them. They were dumb enough to be within 2 or 3 bunkers of each other. I suppose if no one moves on the other team, it might work, but people do move, and when I move to another bunker, I always look at all the possible angles that another bunker has on me, clear a lane, and run into that bunker with my eyes on the biggest threat, most of the times being a bunker that I fear someone is hiding behind. Paintball is a game of angles and speed. You need to know your angles and be fast enough to take advantage of them. You can't stand still in a game like paintball, where aggression rules the field. The bottom line is this: You can't stand still in a paintball game against good opponents and hope to win like that. You may find some luck in it, but against a real opponent, it will never work.
and seeing as i forget to write something in just about every post
are you sure about the egrip, because, apart from the fine tuning needed, a response trigger is cheaper and shoots just as fast
if you have a hopper that can keep up that is

Thanks a lot. I really put a lot of time, thought and of course money into it and hearing people compliment my gun makes it all worth it.

It's kinda starting up again I guess. I'm going to try and recruit more people by adding this club in my sig.

Indoor isn't for everybody. A lot of indoor places I just refuse to go to because I know some dirt bags steal shit from other players and the prices can get a little ridiculous, especially if you go every week or even every other week. Some people just prefer outdoors and that's fine. You'll have plenty of time to play in no time.
