"Good" is a very subjective term. Especially since you also funded the other side in the Iran-Iraq war, which one was the good one and which was the bad?

Israel and USA destroyed the reactor after the Gulf war...Saddam wasn't established as a threat back then, but France did use poor judgement.

As for USA helping Iraq, it helped very minor in the Iran war, because Iran had previously kidnapped over 200 american citizens...while Saddam had not been proven a threat to world stability.

Also, america never aided bin laden, the USA aided Afghanistan against the Soviets, because the Soviets invaded them without being provoked, much like Iraq invaded Kuwait.

I would also like to point out the blatent attempt to change this into a black and white affair. Just because France does not totally agree with America, it does not mean they are on the side of Iraq. There are many shades of grey.
