What mp3 player have you got?
Assuming you've got an iPod, plug it in, then drag the song you've downloaded onto your iPod in iTunes.

No its not an ipod its just some cheap mp3 player

If you plug it into a USB port you'll probably see it in 'My Computer'. Try dragging it onto that.
