Runescape...

OK, I see that everyone on newgrounds hates runescape...

Reasons why:

"It is for fags!"
"Diablo 2 is much better!"
"Everyone else says it is bad!"

And many many more...

But really, it is just a fun game that you can play every once and a while...

2-3 hours a day MAX

I know people who play practically all day.. So they have high level characters and good stuff in the game, but then they start calling people who play like 1\4 as much, "n00b!" That is where the problem starts, because it makes the normal, happy people play as much as them too become better then them. Jagex (people who made runescape) even discussed this too their players. Most of the items take days and days of work too buy, and they are lost easily, and then people play more and more too get them back.

I am a level 96-97 (can't remember which) and i have been playing runescape like 2 hours every other 2 days or so.. I have been playing the game whenever I am bored for like 3 years.. Now wait! Just because i have been playinmg it for 3 years, dosen't mean I spend my whole life on it!

The funny part is that there are people who are like 30-40 with families who play it like all day, setting that example for their kids... So then they do it too...

seriously though,what is the point?
its a game for hobos with no money,buy a real game such as World of Warcraft,Ragnarok Online or even Everquest2.

Java only supports 2D, being a 3D game is fantastic then.

Sure, get a game which costs 50 bucks and start paying 20 bucks to play it every month, games like World of Warcraft stole the idea's of games like Runescape and Knight online and put it in one. They only introduced some classes to it.
