Well, in all honesty, I saw the beginning of this topic, and am frankly surprised at how large it has gotten. Now, while I do agree with Zekey and Zerostar to an extent, especially about the cultish fanbase, I don't dislike the artwork because it's anime-styled. True, anime may not be as well-animated as western cartoons generally, but that doesn't mean that drawing it is as easy as snapping one's fingers. Take a look at some series like Cowboy Bebop, for instance.
Regardless of whether it's copying a style or not, it's not like he's just printing off the images, he still has to draw them. Though it may not be as artistic or original as the work of skilled artists such as Zekey, it's still artwork. I'm glad that an amateur artist has found a bit of recognition, but seriously guys, please cut out all this cultish stuff, it's pretty freaking silly. Incidentally, Zekey, if you ever read this, I'd really, REALLY like to see you do an art thread one day, if you want to. Check my favourite author list, and you'll see I love your work =)
But arguments and such aside, I'd like to make a request for you, coycoy. I have a character in mind, and I'd like to see your interpretation of him, please. He is a young man of average size, dark black hair, green eyes, fairly slight build. He wears a black coat over a plain white T-shirt, grey cargo pants and black shoes. He is grinning sadistically, and points a gun towards the viewer in his right hand, and a katana halfway through being created (part tangible, part translucent green energy) in his left. And please, try not to draw him anime-style if you can, I'd like it to look semi-realistic.
If that's too much to ask, I understand, but if not, I'd like to see if you're capable of making it. Thanks in advance!
