How do you "do" Newgrounds?!

Alright, it's blatantly obvious that there are tons of high-level users that have thousands upon thousands of experience points, mounds upon mounds of flash submitted, and piles and piles of BBS posts racked up. Blams and protection rates are also sky-high. I'm not going as far as to call it an addiction, but I'd say it's pretty damn close.

My question is, how the fuck do you do it?

How do you log experience every day? Jesus, it gets monotonous after a while! I'll probably never reach 1,000, and there are people walking around with over 20,000 experience points! I mean, if you can set a goal, and reach it, regardless of whether or not it's the internet or if it's in your personal life, more power to you. But looking around, and I don't mean it in a disrespectful way, what do some of you do with your time? There are people, almost EVERY time I log on, which is a good bit these days, that are ALWAYS on. Don't you have a job? Don't you go out with friends? Is there more? HOW DO YOU DO THIS DAY-IN AND DAY-OUT?

BBS posts. God. Some people make over ten a day. ZeroAsALimit makes roughly 40 a day! Ozcar, Maus, ZAAL, as well as numerous others I fail to mention due to lack of time and my own ignorance, all have over 28,000+ posts and counting! HOW? Don't you have the desire to do something else after a while? Doesn't it get old? And boring?

B/P's. What is there to say? That is probably the most time-consuming activity to pursue on Newgrounds. There have been MILLIONS of blams and protections on Newgrounds, and some people have 30,000+! Where do you find the time? Wouldn't you rather just try something else? Go outside, something? I mean, why is Newgrounds so fun to some people?

Good God. I don't mean to be disrespectful, but Newgrounds IS NOT that good. I can understand a simple goal, you know, silver whistles, 1,000 B/P's, a couple thousand posts, etc., but some people go overboard. Way overboard.

I guess my blunt question is, how do you do that? How to you wake up each morning, knowing you'll make 25+ posts, log experience again, like you've done for the past two months, write TONS of reviews, etc., and that will pretty much be your day, like it's been the past week, and how you project it will be over time. What motivates you to do it?

Basically people come on here everyday and do everything possible, as in post as many topics/replies as possible, rack up 10 points, save and blam as many possible. And etc.
Sometimes it can look very sad, but many people have just been on here since the beginning, or near the beginning.

Just the experience of it all. Learning what most people are like, telling jokes, watching really good flash, looking at some interesting photoshop threads, etc. Also, almost everything I can do on Newgrounds can be turned into a game. Trying to get higher experience, trying to get a higher post count, trying to get a shinier badge, almost all activites can be turned into a fun game. Also, most NG users are fun to talk to. So overall, it's sometimes a good way to kill time, and it's a great experience for me. :)

I'm trying to push myself to 50 posts a day, and if you think voting on five submissions a day is hard then you're a pile of shit. People that have alot of flash just enjoy making flash, and same with audio.

Basically I work nights. I do posts at work cause it's not busy at night and when I come home at 12/1am I don't want to go to bed straight away so I normally do my experience points then, and enjoy a bit more of the bbs then go to bed.

Honestly, I dont get it either. I've been on NG for almost a year now, and I only have around 1k posts. I only make like 1-5 a day.
and on those rare boring days, I can do max 30 posts in one day.

I've been coming here since mid-2001, but I didn't sign up until I was like, six months from turning thirteen. I've seen some semi-oldskoo' stuff that kinda keeps me coming back, hoping to see something similiar, but the links some people go to, it does look very sad indeed.

Its true that it does get repetitive after awhile, but all you do is five submissions, easy. I wont blam and protect anymore, but I do post, occasionally. Its not that hard to do, really.

Some people focus on posting. Like, say -wyyzzerrdd-, I believe is his name, is level one and he has thousands of posts. Some people focus on B/P and expierience, and others, like me, try to get good at everything. The reason we do this, or at least my reason, is the same reason people want to beat a videogame. I want that satisfaction, the respect of my NG peirs, and the feeling of power and superiority. And no, I have nothing better to do.

When no one wants to do anything, or I can't get from one place or another i'm stuck at home, so I do multiple things on the computer once. Newgrounds being one of them.

I know it's a major accomplishment. But you're an average Joe NG User, not a Shrapnel or a humantarget. I'm talking about people who flock to it as if Jessica Simpson announced she was a prostitute. Duh, this website represents a major accomplishment in not only the internet, but in my opinion, everyday life, but is it really as fun as, say, an amusement park? Hanging with friends? I don't have many blam/protects, also I just learned how to do it a week ago...

But depositing takes like..no time at all. I usually do it at midnight too in the summer because I'm up on MSN. Also, I personally don't think I have alot of posts, but whenever I'm at the computer and not playing WoW, I'm on MSN, listening to music, and...On the general BBS forum. It justs adds up after a while.
