Heh, One problem:
Tetris means "4." Every piece in a tetris game had 4 blocks. And it looked more russian than that.

Tetra means 4, not tetris. The name Tetris was combined from that each piece had four blocks (tetra) and the creator really liked tennis. So, he combined them and voila!
