Getting Paid Soon... Should I Buy?

Yeah, been a while since I've been here... Anyway...

I'm in need of buying myself a new toy and I planned on purchasing a Nintendo DS Lite for the compactibility and pricing VS the 360. Nonetheless, after much deliberation I did decide to buy the DS Lite (for the extra ten bucks over the actual DS). So knowing that the DS Lite only had the "Polar White" color, I did some skimming and found skins. While doing so, I also found out that we Americans got stiffed on other colors for the DS Lite. Japan has two different blues and the UK has a black color. I'm not EMO or anything, but the Retro (an NES look-a-like) skin for the DS Lite would look better on a black DS Lite. I'm wondering if I should do one of the following:
a) Go ahead and buy the white DS Lite. I'm bored out of my mind and I might as well just go right ahead.
b) Wait a while. Maybe Nintendo will come around and get the black DS Lite here soon.
c) Don't buy the DS Lite at all. Save up for the Revolution (I still refuse to call it the friggen Wii) instead.
I don't want to hear you say "Don't buy it, Nintendo's crap" or anything like that. I don't really care what you think of Nintendo or the system itself. I am merely asking advice on what to spend my next "fun paycheck" on.

Honestly, I'd save for the Wii. Knowing you as well as I do, the severe lack of DS Lite Smash Bros will cramp your style.

Not only that, but... I'm tired. And I don't play portable game system anymore. And I'm dying to get a Revolution. Plus, yea.

Heh, I love people like this. But, let me humor you.

I have a bank account and I'm working on a car. Living on campus and having tons of friends with vehicles, why do I need one just yet? And as far as having a life... If you noticed, my opening statement was I haven't been on Newgrounds in a while. What have you been doing? Posting your life away? Nothing against Newgrounds, but when you have to try to piss someone off with a saddening comment, maybe you need the life more than they do.

But in accordance to everyone else's comments so far:
The girl comment, I sorta resent that. You can ask Zen there, I'm a hardcore gamer and I own more consoles than handhelds because I enjoy them better.
I want the DS because I work during the day and sometimes I'm sitting around doing nothing. I haven't had a second thought about the 360 yet because of the price and the fact I only have one game thought about it. Now the DS on the other hand, I have about five games on my wish list.
About purchasing the Wii over the DS, I will have another "fun paycheck" to get the Wii, especially if Nintendo continues to leave it at $250.

I've been working at a car company, I've opened a bank account, I'm saving up for a car, I'm taking Drivers Training, I've been excercising, I've been going to the mall with friends, going to parties and being with my boyfriend.

Save up for the Wii, ( or the Revolution in your case ) I dont think getting a DS lite, in the colour you don't like anyway is a good idea.
