I have a wide screen computer. I'm looking at Wacom tablets. The only thing they have that they designate for wide screen is an intuos that is over $300.
Does anyone know whether me bying a 4x5 or 6x8 which does not match my screen will effect my ability to draw. I'm concerned about spending a lot of money on something that won't work for my needs.

Eh, thanks for the advice. I've had enough of my mouse though. I'll use it for grabing and dropping things, but I'd like to have something a little bit more like pencil and paper for when I draw.

I use a graphire on a widescreen and I have to say I don't really notice the horizontal stretching at all.
You naturally adjust the movement of your hand to compensate as you're usually looking directly at the results on screen, not at your hand.
