John Barrie, creator of the iThenticate plagiarism-probing system, claimed he found at least three examples of what he called "textbook plagiarism" in the new Coulter book "Godless" after he ran its text through the program.

[ Mainstream writers, whether Liberal or Conservative, do not deal in fact: they are there to entertain with half-truths and jokes and mockery, not to make sense. Why make sense and go broke when you can get rich by making idiots chuckle? ]

I could write something completely off of my head right now and chances are, i'll somehow be plagarizing from something whether it be a book, magazine or news article.

Oh come on.
People know what's plagerizing.
It's not like writing out, "The man is nice." And calling out plagerization.
Yes, there isn't anything new under the sun...
but clearly we know what's it is to plagerize.
However,
before we persecute anyone... we should at least juxtapose actual passages to make sure that Anne Coulter has indeed plagerized.
Now what if this is true?
Nothing. Really.
Unless the people whom she ripped off wants compensation... or an appology.
But the bitch chock on that, probably, before letting that one come out from her coiled lips... or come up something blaming on Liberalness and the such.

A place with some examples comparing her stuff with others.
It looks like Anne Coulter wields a double edge sword.
While she goes saying stuff about the NY Times and plagerizing...
She herself hasn't pulled out the beam from her own eye.

I hope she goes down hard, I love to see smug "book writers" who write zombifying extreme left or right wing trash to sell to the masses of zombies. it seems like EVERYONE that has ANYTHING to do with ANY sort of politics runs off and writes some book that the legions of zombies runs off and wastes their money on, making the writer even richer.
burn all poltical book writers!!
I'm not crazy, everyone else is.

and for yonder record, I hate the liberals more than i hate the conservatives, because the conservatives at least try to keep SOME moral fiber around, while the liberals seek to utterly destroy everything.
I'm not crazy, everyone else is.

Why bother wasting one's precious time on this planet with petty L v R politics? The problem with modern society is that it denies the basic principles that make civilization functional and enduring because they're unmarketable and ultimately isolating (though worthwile in the end) to the individual. If we can get over our fears of death and suffering we can find out what makes life worth living and society functional; although you wouln't sell a lot of books if you tried to explain this to people - just ask Nietzsche, his last book only sold about 6 copies before he died.

Or rather, burn mediocre books that cater to the crowd for either profit or acceptance. Death to all that isn't heroic!

ironic since Coulter once said that it was "only a shame that Timothy McVeigh didn't go to the New York Times."
she then made a retraction and said thatshe meant to say "after everyone left except the reporters and editorial staff."
her plagirism is no surprise. she is just like one of those toy parrots that repeats everything you say in an ultra annoying voice.

there are OTHERS? not being sarcastic either, I really haven't seen a book written about politics that doesn't fall under either Profit or Acceptance catagories, often both.
