BBC has confirmed the penultimate episode is called "The Stolen Earth", not "War on Skaro". War on Skaro was assumed for the same reason Davros was assumed to be the villain, the people who make the Doctor Who toys named their new line "War on Skaro".

The summary on the BBC website would suggest we find out what the Shadow Proclamation that The Doctor has talked about a few times actually is.

Episode was shit. Nothing happened for the first half, and then the second half was dull and predictable. Wouldn't expect anything else from RTD, though.

The episode was average, I guess. However, in my 13 years of movie, series, TV and Video Game experience, that was the undisputed WORST ending I have ever seen.

Indeed.
The fact that this one didn't contain any of the overblown set pieces and CGI that RTD usually uses just illustrated how bad his episodes are when they rely on script alone. God his dialogue sucks.

Davros looks sexy though, glad they've kept him identical to the way he was in Genesis of the Daleks.

Failgrounds.

Even when they tried the whole "lol we dno wat it was" was just terrible. Cliché at best.

RTD clearly wasn't paying attention when learning about unseen monsters. You're supposed to give hints as to what they are, catch glimpses of them for a split second, have them leave clues behind like scratch marks or slime or something, not just give no closure whatsoever. It's almost as bad as having an invisible baddy.

There's been invisible baddies before. The most recent example were those shadow monsters in the last episode if you can qualify that as invisible because they pretty much were for the first bit.

But this "baddy" wasn't a baddy, if there was no knocking on the outside or the cockpit wasn't taken right off. It would of been left down to "the woman is a loony". I'm hoping this could be a build up to the next episodes but as it seems it's just a one off episode with no point. A filler if you will.

I don't know what you're all moaning about. I thought midnight was a pretty good show, if a little anticlimactic. I liked how the Doctor didn't figure it out and how when they all ganged up on him he was a bit fucked.

It showed that he's not God and it's a nice little break from "Oh no, monsters! How am I going to get out of this? Oh wait, I'm really clever so I'll just do this. Day saved".

I still can't comprehend what the Doctor was even doing taking a shuttle bus though.

CAST HIM OUT!

(weakly) cast him out...

Out he goes!

:(just as weakly) out..... he.......goes.

Bit anticlimatic. I remember sitting there thinking "What, that's it?"

I still don't think sontarans are in the finale. However, I am now fully convinced about Davros.

Yeah, I remember looking at the clock when they all started ganging up on him and I thought 'Ten minutes left? I wonder how on Earth this'll get resolved in ten minutes?'

Then some shit went down with a black lady tackling someone and I was all like 'Huh?'

BBC confirmed next season of Torchwood is moving to BBC1, and it's only 5 episodes, that form one continuous story.

That could be pretty ace, it'll be like the old epic Doctor Who serials that would reach 8-10 parts.

Mind, RTD is writing at least one of the episodes, so expect lots of EDGY GAY KISSES, because not only is everyone in the future gay, so is everyone in Wales.

Correct. To make matters worse, he's writing all remaining episodes this series. It appears he plans to insert a knife into the programme's back as a parting gift.

I actually heard a rumour that the finale will leave Moffat with a clean slate. As in, all the current companions will be written off, and you'll be left with just The Doctor, so Moffat can do what he likes without any baggage left over from RTD's run as head writer.

Davros is being played by Julian Bleach, same person who played the circus bloke in that episode of Torchwood with the circus people coming out of the film.

RTD? If yes, I totally understand. I didn't get the Fires of Pompei one though.

It's the arc word this season, like Bad Wolf, Torchwood or Mr. Saxon. The Shadow Proclamation has been mentioned quite a few times, too. Davies has confirmed we find out what both are in the finale.

But it doesn't feel as well implemented, ususally it's just scribbled on a wall or something similar, but for the Medusa Cascade, the Doctor just talks about it.

He also said the arc word isn't actually an arc word, it's a theme that's going to carry through. It just involves the Medusa Cascade and the Shadow Proclamation.

Also, since my copy of The Invisible Enemy is taking this piss getting here, which I assume is something to do with the fact the BBC announced all the discs are broken and have to be replaced, I'm torrenting me some William Hartnell goodness. Starting with The Romans, then going for The Chase, and then seeing if I fancy watching any more after that.

And even though mine was late, it's still fucked. Towards the end of episode 3, it cuts from The Doctor threatening the virus in his head, to the virus escaping his body and becoming huge, and then back to The Doctor attacking the virus in his head, whereas it should be threat, attack, escape.

Fucking post you dicks, stop making me quadruple post.

Noel Clarke confirmed he's playing Mickey in the finale. It was always likely, but now it's definite.

Also, I forgot to say how ace The Invisible Enemy is. "I have found the solution, Doctor! Knife them in the neck!" Leela is quality, and The Doctor solving everything by blowing it all up was also pretty awesome.
