The Empty Child/The Doctor Dances was probably my favourite of the new series.

the empty child is the best of the new series. i think all new episodes should be held to that standerd of perfection

That's the only episode of the new series I haven't seen. Is it worth tracking down?

Definately. One of the best new ones I have seen. Very dark for a kids show.

It is one of the best of the new ones. A two parter is always good, gives more suspence and makes you more excited for the next one. Even better with the old 6-8 parters.

I'll give you a quick run down of the episode.

The TARDIS materialises on a planet circling a black hole. It shouldn't exist, because it should be sucked in. Thus, The Impossible Planet. There is a drilling operation going on, to find an enegry source in the centre of the planet. The TARDIS falls into the depths of the planet after an earthquake (if I remember right). Some bloke gets possesed and kills a few people. The Doctor and some lass go down into "the pit" to have a look what's there. They find a big temple thing, and open a seal on a pit.

Sound it heard, end of episode.

You forgot about the Ood.

Ugly white dudes are being possesed by something calling itself the beast, and are hunting down the remaining humans.

Pictures of the noodle faced monsters.
They were originally going to be the same species as the Slitheen, but a different family.

That wouldn't work. Slitheen are too fat to crawl through piping and the guys gun wouldn't work on them because only pickled onions can kill them.

No, you don't understand. Each family is completely different in shape and looks, so one family would look nothing like another family. There also biologically different so the pickled onions wouldn't work but bullets might....

I just found this.

It's an interactive episode, set just after The Christmas Invasion, called "Attack of the Graske". It's not brilliant, but it's worth a look.

Nothing. The Doctor doesn't care.

I found this quite funny.

It's a Doctor Who drinking game, quite a good read.

Torchwood was good this week, but a lot of it seemed a bit streched. You know, to make it last longer, especially the driving scenes. More plot devices opened up, something "moving in the darkness" coming for Jack, and the possibility of another glove.
