Very true. Plus Halo 3 will blow every game that has a gun out of the water for a long, long time.

Halo 3 is going to win more in the long run, most of you Ps3 Fanbois and people who dispise the Halo series are no match for the 3-4 million people who already have reserved copies of Master Cheifs last stand.

Snake may be able to sneak around like a little pussie and shoot around, but Halo is an FPS and one of the FPS that brought Console FPS to life.

You don't hear people talking about Killzone? do ya? Why do you think there are so many FPSs coming out for the consoles now? They all want to beat Halos sales. I despise Stealth games, so I hope that MgS4 is shit.

I didn't say his guy wouldn't beat Master Cheif in a fight, I just said that Halo 3 is going to make a shitload of money off of this game.

And Snake is probally not going to make any money for the Ps3.

Trust me, that is a very inaccurate statement.

And? The same kind of people who bought a 360 for Halo 3 will buy a PS3 for Snake.

MGS isn't all stealth. The FPS moments in it are more intense than Halo due to things like conserving ammo, trying to aim at a quickly moving boss, some of which(like Vamp) take these opportunities to take potshots at you.
It's not so much a sneaking game as it is a war game centering around infiltration(there are some diferences between these)
To summarize Halo=Shoot everything, motherfucker and hope you live
MGS=Aim carefully, find out the strategy to beat the boss, conserve ammo.

MGS isn't an online game. This point is null.

I think that MGS4 will outshine Halo 3. After all, gameplay is one thing, but people will remember that fucking awesome game with tight controls and a blast of a story.

MGS4 will probably be the Return of the King in terms of videogames, while Halo 3 will be a Monty Python(I'm using how well the movies are as an analogy).

Both will be good, but everyone that isn't biased will know who's at the top of the heap.

OK,I have to admit that playing Halo online is good fun,but come on...it IS overrated...
Plus,MC is a sissy that have loads of weaponry avaible,while Snake has to do with what he CAN find...plus,MC has a shield...without that,he would be dead in 2 seconds...

So,I say...METAL GEAR SOLID and SNAKE wins!!!! And xbox sucks...I recommend that you get a PS3 and a good graphic card for your PC.The BEST SELLERS of the XBox will eventually be for PC (happened to Fable,Halo AND Halo 2,which are 'the best games' the box has) or EVEN released for the PS3 OR Wii.

And,if you want a REAL FPS game,how about you move your ass and get Doom 3? Now,THAT'S a great FPS...or,you could try HL2 too...Halo is not a soooo great FPS...the story is cheesy...and Killzone is better (I like it mehr,lol)

Lol. I actually laughed when I read this. Masterchief has proved himself to have no fear in countless situations. He sped off with a covenant bomb into space, knowing full well that he could miss and die. He jumped into a scarab without hesitation, and destroyed it on his own. Who sneaks around like a rat, hiding in a box? Masterchief is in damn fly armor, and walks without hesitation. He doesn't talk much, and when he does, he speaks with extreme charisma and "coolness" with his deep voice. Also, he had to actually fight to get the ship into a destruct sequence.

Well, snake is a more realistic game, people want to get away from that.

I hated MgS3 (yes I had a Ps2... I think we all did) it was one of the most annoying games I ever played, I liked the fiction in Halo, and you give to much hope in your fellow Ps3 players, do you actually think only 4 million Xbox people are going to buy the game? No, Halo 3 will probally sell around 4-8 million copies.

Whereas Snake will only sell around 1-4 million copies, I got these facts on how many consoles where sold around four months ago, but I know their are only around 4 million Ps3 Consoles sold to this date, with almost 10 million Xbox 360 consoles. So, explain to me how this going to work out, all Ps3 owners have these crazy theories that the Xbox is going to suddenly stop.

LOL How is this going to happen? Do you all expect Microsoft to stop manufacturing games? As most people say "they are not graphic whores" and graphics and sound are the only two things on your side at the moment.

I can't tell you one person I know who owns a Ps3, but yet I can tell plenty of people I know with an Xbox 360. (around 9 kids in my school) and I bet you can tell me at least one person you know that own a 360.

Now, you all know that the cost is not an issue, I just heard a Ps3 person (he owned a console, he wasn't an official) on www. Charlieoscardelta.com state "Hardcore fans of the ps2 should own this". Now I agree with him 100%, if you work and really strive for this game then you can afford to buy a 360. My dad pulled out a loan to buy me the $120 Halo 3. Also, the Xbox actually costs more! If you buy online and an extra controller, and if you want the Elite ect; then you have around $200 more. The real reason is that people like the 360 more... and you know it :).

I am merely stating that Halo 3 will sell more, Halo 3 has sold 4 million plus, look at these figures...

Metal Gear Solid (6.6 million)[74]

Halo 2 (9.2 million)[9]

Halo: Combat Evolved (5 million)[10]

Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty (7 million)[83]

Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater (3.7 million)[85]

Halo 2 has sold more then all of them, and MGS 3 was outsold by Halo: Combat Evolved... the worst of the three.

I would say that since Solid Snake is able to use stealth, that he would probably take Master Chief down. It wouldn't be easy though.

The mask of MC will make hard to se behind, so snake can breack his neck or

He can just make use of all the arsenal and find a good spot for an suprise attack.
