I'm looking into buying a graphics tablet, like a Wacom Graphire. I've heard lots of stories of people paying lots of money and being dissapointed, and I obviously dont want that to happen. So does anyone own one that they are satisfied with? and does anyone know where i can get a good deal? I would greatly appreaciate the advice!

Always buy off Ebay or directly from the company. Inflation happens when retailers get it so if you get it directly from the company, it's cheaper.

Talk about graphics tablet, my comp nearly broke because of one.
Last year I won a graphics tablet, a really old one but my computer sucked at the time so it never worked. So recently, with my new computer, I decided to install the graphics tablet. It totally fucked my computer up in the sense of it unable to start. It would get to the loading start-up screen and just load and load and not go on. So, some how, I managed to get into safe mode and uninstalled it. Fixed it.
This too will pass.

I've personally never heard of anybody being dissapointed with the purchase of a drawing tablet. I myself used to have a Graphire 2 4x5, and I currently have a Intuos 3 6x8. Just order it directly from the wacome site.
