Should I level up?

I don't really see the point of going up to Level 10, mainly because I don't like the boxing glove picture, but is there that big of a difference between levels 9 and 10? Anyway, what do you think I should do?

Yes. You stand out better, you look more experienced as other users, and you you separate yourself from the 45% ( or something ) of users on NG that aren't past lvl 9.

Well, it increases your voting power, but that's about it. Seriously, it doesn't matter much. Being an intelligent and/or funny user is more likely to earn you respect, level is really just something superficial.

If you actually care about impacting a submission's score, leveling up and BP'ing is for that. If you just vote to get your XP points and don't actually vote on flash, don't bother unless you want an avatar more original or "pretty", then level up till you reach there, it only takes a matter of time. I know a few people who just level up to like level 16 and just deposit enough from there to maintain the level but not level up. Otherwise level is just a meter for voting power. For example, my voting power at this moment if I didn't have any badge would be 7. 7 with an added 22% from my current badge pushes me to 8.55~. Since I don't really BP anymore I just deposit and level up for more VP, because that takes a few seconds to do and BP'ing could take any amount of time to do.

Level 10's get more noticed because there aren't that many of them compared to level 9's. Plus, you look more experienced because level 9 ranges from 450 experience points to mid to high 1,000's (changes every day). Level 10's lowest exp. point number is way up there. So, that means you deposited many times. Eventually, you will lose the boxing glove anyway (only to get it back at level 12). Plus, you're not even close to leveling up, so it's kinda early to be thinking about this.
