Help with Steam.

I have already looked all over the internet for answers to this question but...

Whenever I open Steam.exe, it says "Connecting Steam accout: apirocks..." and it instantly freezes. I have no firewall on, and all of my ports for Steam are open as well. I have a very high end computer, and a decent internet connection.

I have been able to play Steam in the past, but it has acting up for the passed 6 or 7 months.

This may be the wrong part of the forum, but I'm absolutely fed up with this!

Please use the link below to diagnose potential connectivity issues - the Steam client will report any potential conflicts which may be interfering with Steam.

That should help you out.

Thanks for that guys, but no where can I find any support that addresses the problem of the Login freezing when connecting!

Have you tried re-installing Steam? Can you still play games when you're offline?

I had that happen to me once. Its as annoying as hell.
