Fighting games take alot of scripting. Do you want someone to do the scripting while you do the graphics? You need to be specific in what you'll need help on when making the game. Find someone to team up with. Making a thread will just get you cussed out by the meaner posters. Browse posts, and spot someone who seems good at scripting, then write them an e-mail asking them if they'll team up with you on it. You need to come up with the theme, characters, and stuff before you try pushing a game. You can't just make a game unless you know the different characters, moves, etc you're going to need to do graphics and scripting for all of that.

Kinda agree u do need experience to make a game and u have to know all the tools. Mabey u should make a simple movie first and learn the tools to a degree. And come on 7426001 what the hells this about being popular, it not a contest, but i guess u have a right to be angre i would be to!

Ladies! Ladies! Enough. Chill. You're going to make your blood pressure go up and give yourself a stroke. Look. 7426001 is right. You do have to have experience to make a game. Try making a few movies and learn the tools. However, 7426001 doesn't need to throw a fit and tell everyone who asks a simple question to STFU. That's a little discouraging. It's good XTumTumX wants to learn. _Wizard_ you did of course start fighting with 7426001, again, as you usually do pick fights with others. Calmly tell a raver to chill and don't insult them. Or it makes you look bad.

XTumTumX, I'd suggest poking at some Tutorials and Actionscripting books. You can go to the local libraries and see if you can check some out there. You can also download FLA files from the net to see how some games were made. Picking those apart is a good way to learn.

If you wanna team up with a scripter while you do the graphics that's always good too. Teamwork is a good thing.
