Since I posted this in another 4th of July thread I'll post it again here since people always seem to forget why the 4th of July is celebrated.

On July 4, 1776 the Declaration of Independence was signed declaring independence from Great Britain.

South Korea has no official 4th of July celebration, but I got together with some American-born friends and had a weird ritual of dancing around an American flag at 7:04 AM this morning.

Also, we're climbing to the top of a mountain in five hours, at 11:30 PM, and shooting fireworks over the entire city. Woot.

Let's hope I don't get arrested. xD

Since i'm in Lithuania for the summer, basically nothing. Since we didn't get our independence on July 4th, we don't celebrate anything on this day.
I hope everyone else has fun. Throw a firecracker at a gas station for me, ok?
