Stepmania question.

I downloaded some stepmania files from http://jfiles.free.fr/ and opened the file and everything is there, I just don't know how to add the file into stepmania 4.0. Some help would be appreciated , I tried dragging the folder to stepmania... didn't go as planned.

Are you talking about adding song folders for the game? Exactly what type of files are you trying to add to the program?

The folder contains a PNG file,2 paint shop pics, a .dwi, a .sm, an mp3 file (of course), and a .Lrc file. Im trying to get it into stepmania. Usually I would go to www.stepmania.com and just use those, but I already downloaded those. I want to put this file into the game, I just dont know how to get it in.

You have to open the program folder for it first. Then go to the songs folder and make a new folder in tha. Then copy the files into that.

Make sure you don't copy the song folder directly into the folder named "Songs" you have to have the song folder in a group folder contained within the "Songs" folder. For example: Stepmania -> Songs -> Group name -> Song folder

Good to know there are fellow Stepmania players out there. I'm actually friends with one of the top players in the world, super-smashman, who is currently 15th (ish). But... yeah, I pretty much suck at SM now.
