Hey guys is there any way(in Audacity) that you can make your recordings sound like you're listening to them through the telephone.
I wanna make a flash, and in one part of it, somebody calls the main character and they talk for some time, but how can I make the caller's voice sound like that?

what???
Reverb and volume?
What you should try to do is find an equalizer and bring out the mid ranges. Most of the time in audio editors they have a preset for a telephone frequency.

cut every frequency in the eq except for 440hz. have 440 hz at full. the frequency of a phone is 440hz. i know this 'cause you can tune your guitar to a dial-tone. it's a perfect pitch of A which is 440hz. 5th fret, high e-string. try it it's the truth.

If you cut everything except for 440hz, all you'll get is a ringing A tone, not the sound rendered in the style of a phone conversation.
If my mind serves me correctly, the audio bandwidth of a phone is somewhere around the 3-5khz range.

an amp simulator works well if you lower the gain a bit and keep the mid high and the bass and treble low.
