I assume I'll leave when I most get tired. There have been a few points where I've thought "This is just stupid." but I always came back. When I either get too busy or too tired of NG is when I'll leave for good.

Well, I'm relatively new here, but I like this place and a lot of the people here a good deal, and judging by my tendency to procrastinate on the computer, the combination means that I'll probably be sticking around for a looooong while.

Can I jump on the e-family bandwagon too, everyone? *hugs* =)

Anyways, should I be able to keep this job, wake up in the morning, and not miss the bus, I should have the net for a long time. Anyways, so many of the good users that were around when I showed up are slowly disappearing. But more than likely they end up making an appearance or two, or, just end up like a few of them. You know, the kind that say they'll leave, but they're really saying run to another forum, bitch about this forum and so on, then come back like nothing happened, but whatever. We shall wait and see what happens. I find it funny that most people from the year I joined are basically scattered, but I guess that happens, oh well.

Seems like a boring routine. I've noticed that some users that came in the same bunch as you have left. There are two members that come to my mind, but can't lay a finger on them. Everyone will leave, but will come back eventually. This though, I think cannot continue forever. One day their gone, and you'll end up thinking that they will come back, but they won't.

Well, I don't really know how effective my advice will be, but you have to consider, time flows continuously. There will be others. I mean, countless people join this site all the time, perhaps you should look to some of the newer users to be friends with as well. Sure, having old friends leave sucks, but it's good to make a few new ones.

Or, you know, the process keeps on going and going until it finally happens that Newgrounds (or at least the BBS) is shut down. Closed.

It's odd looking into the future, looking at what would happen in only 3 years. Who knows what bandwagons will have happened, what will happen to the old users, who'll be the douchebag of the week, everything.

Oh, I'm not too worried about that. You see, I believe that for every good user that leaves, another 100 sign up, and within the bunch, one will usually emerge and stray away from these things we like to address them as "Noobs". Showing some originality and bringing something to the new to the table. Besides, I'm surprised I haven't left NG yet sometimes. I feel like an old man here at times, but then again, I am one of the few users that are actually older than 18, that is actually older than that instead of dodging that 13 below mark for instant insulting. I'll remember this thread, and if were still here two years from now, I swear to you, we will all feel incredibly old. Wondering with a touch of confusion "Why the hell are we still here?" Trust me on this.

I don't think that it's either staying here or leaving forever, you could always post here every once in a while and not feel tied to come here everyday.

I can't see myself leaving but I know I will, I just can't imagine it, even if I do leave I would basically check Newgrounds from time to time, heck I see users who have made their leaving topics and their last posts are from 2004 and yet they still visit the BBS.

I think one day, I would stop posting, but that doesn't mean I still won't visit, once you get to sign up in Newgrounds, make reviews there, know at least a couple people there, you really get attached to it, you just can't leave. I really don't know anyone that would miss me if I go, but still Newgrounds can bring people together.
It's where all the fads/bandwagons start and end. Really unique place it is.

Yea the BBS is getitng boring. Ill probably leave soon.

I don't believe the whole one hundred good users. Puh-leeze. I think though that new users come in bunches and out of those bunches, carries atleast three decent/good/good potential BBS members. It happens naturally and unexpected. Shit irl starts happening, and you start showing up less, get busy, etc... eventually you forget about the place. altho i've left a few times and obviously never permanent, that's been the case. And for most people I know who left all the together.
So, i cant say when. But I have a feeling it's going to happen somewhere in the middle of college, or right after.

hahaha. It happens, here and there. Leave for half a year or a lil more. But, ya know, I've been here since I was 13, and pretty much from there till HS, I have a lot of time on my hands. When college starts, I get like an hour to myself a day. So you'll definately not see me around starting the end of august. But leaving forever, hmmm.. Maybe in a few more years. Hopefully atleast. Can't stay here forever. Im atleast hoping by time Im done college, i'll have something big enough in my life where I'll be to occupied to be here. Like moving, building my resume up for that dream job, working hard, etc..

Yeah, I fully understand. People do need to go and pursue their future and all. Of course, in the end, this site is just a leisure activity, real life is overall more important to one's personal development and all. Chatting on the BBS won't get you fed and wealthy, unless you're the Fulps or an admin. But still, that doesn't mean you won't be missed.
