It resets to exactly the same countdown point before you changed your clock. As far as I know, there's no way to change the timer.
Here's my conclusion ( based off of other forum topics):
There are many companies with the title Eon (I.E a credit card company in the Philippines, producers of the new Bond movie) and this is a countdown to a release of their new product.There is also an Eon games.
The countdown is simply a timer until the unveiling of the "real" site, and this project was meant to have no leaks.
The creator of this just wanted to experiment with people, see if they could spark interest in people out of basically nothing. Judging by the IP list on the site, they managed that with flying colors.
Maybe this site is acessible only to members of a private group, and the timer marks an event for them, be it religous or otherwise.
Do any of you realise that this site is not being advertised by anybody but curious visitors? Chances are the creator doesn't have the public in mind, because the creator is not advertising the site, unless you count posts in forum threads about the site itself.
