The Running Man

Since I assume we've all seen the 1987 sci-fi classic The Running Man, I won't go into great depth explaining the movie itself.

Basically, Arnold Schwarzenegger has to run a kind of gauntlet whilst being hunted by a bunch of Megamanesque style villains called "stalkers".

My question is...if all the stalkers had to fight each other - who would win?

Fireball, Dynamo, Buzzsaw or Professor Subzero?

My personal vote would go to Buzzsaw, as he seems to be the toughest...although obviously not tough enough to beat Arnie. And I think Dynamo would be least likely to win, as he's shit and has a shit car*.

It was actually a book first, written by Stephen King under some pseudonum - the book was quite different to the film, rather than being set in a TV show the book took place accross America...and ended with the main character suicide bombing the Network Towers.

i have some questions
1. how do they lose?
is it if they die or somthing else...

2. are the stalkers human's in suits or complete robots

3. what do the robots look like are there any pictures...

4. when you say they get put in the arena
does it mean they have to go in like an actual arena and have to stay there..
or can they run away from them in the town or whatever...

Yeah, I agree with your sentiment though, that in terms of actors playing the characters - Captain Freedom wins. As the other four stalkers are all relatively unknown...and according to imdb the guy who plays Professor Subzero is an actual Professor!

Hmm, well on an ice rink Subzero would obviously win, Dynamo is just fat, but Buzzsaw might do a good job.
Overall though Fireball wins, mainly because he's black.

I read it and the book kicked major ass. The movie doesn't even compare.
