what i'm wondering is why he stole the ps2, instead of the xbox 360. at a pawn shop you get 30$ at most for a ps2. for the xbox 360 you can get 90 or 100. i work in a pawn shop sometimes and deal with this shit a lot. with the game and controllers it still would have only been 40$ max.

Well if you have to resort to stealing in broad daylight like that guy, you might not be a bright lightbulb =)

What kind of retarded hobo steals a PS2? they don't have any electricity, and if he tries to pawn it, of course the people will know that the hobo stole it (cuz how could he afford it?)

That's a pretty balsy and/ or smart thief.

I have one of those Street Fighter Controllers and the huge anniversary joystick, and that's really adding insult to injury getting two of those stolen.

But look on the bright side, PS2's are fairly cheap, just go on ebay.

You guys are gonna hate me for saying this, but the thief is a bloody genius. A crowded office building in the middle of the day. He probably realised that if anyone came and saw him they would assume that someone knew why he was there. After all, like you clearly said, you didn't expect this at all. It was a small amount of loot, but theoretically it was a good plan.

you just have no idea HOW UNLIKELY it is that he could have gotten in there without somebody seeing him AND nobody checking up right away who was there.

If i would have pulled in 5 minutes earlier, either there would have been a major confrontation as I can see the door from my desk OR i would have walked past the room seeing him bundling up our ps2.

and the only reason nobody checked on the noise earlier is they thought he might have been me.

its just mind boggling that crack head got away with it....

Look, no matter how pissed off the guys might be at the moment, they're not going to arm the office. I think I know them well enough to say that, even though I've never actually BEEN to the office (or met half of the guys currently working there). The only exception might be Jeff, who's a nutbag anyway.

As for the people who're saying, "Why didn't the guy take the 62" TV?????"... It's easier to sneak out of the door with a console under your jacket than it is to walk out of the place with a HUGE TV under there..... I'd have thought that was common sense.
