Lol, ya. If Stamper would see that, he would probaly say: "Hey, what's goin' on man?". Reply: "Nottin', just see how heavy this 62" TV screen is...".
Stamper: "OK... Peace.".

No serious, it really sucks for you Tom. :'(

Just to be safe, Stamper messaged my computer asking if I knew the guy in the game room, but I had my messages minimized and wasn't checking up on them at the moment, so Stamper eventually walked over and said, "Who's the guy in the game room?"

Ha I'm really sorry for you guys. My house is open all the time and we've never been robbed, :O.
You just had bad luck

Hey Stamper, what you should of done is ask who he was and why was he in the game room when you first saw him. Becasuse I would of let no one near my games if I didn't know then. I'm also surprised that you didn't ask him to play around of street fighter with you. that would of been fucking crazy playing a round with the guy that was then going to rob you.

but I do hope that they catch the creep that stole your PS2.

PS2 and Street Fighter? You got fucking lucky! That's easily replaceable! At least he didn't damage any thing else or try to steal dev kits of god knows what else you got there.

I'm sure the majority of NG fans are cool, but you're at the point where you've got to watch out for the RABID fans, who'd just want to curise on by like a stalker and take a souvenier of NGHQ!

...It really sucks, though... The office is our little comfort zone and that comfort zone has been violated. I'm just glad things didn't turn out worse than they did. Now we just have to carry on our day and get back to work. At least it will stop Stamper, Jeff and Mindchamber from playing Street Fighter all the time. :)

Jesus H Christ, Tom... you're right, I did think my monday sucked. But yours sucks worse.... :(
I hope they catch the guy... Can you claim on insurance or are you exempt from that because of the door being open?

I'd say that you're lucky the theif disappeared when you guys went back in the room. If he was strong, or had a weapon, and you had actually caught him stealing, who knows what he could or would of done. Although, if he was a casual noob robber who just waltz into peoples homes and takes stuff and walks right back out, then with 3 or 4 of you there you can just jump his ass =)

But really, let's just be happy that nothing worse could of happened. I mean come on, its the NG office, you can buy 200 PS2s if you wanted, I'm sure =p Even though the point is about security, I just like to look on the bright side... sort of.

Anyway, that is a bad Monday, is there still a chance of catching him?

Since Stamper saw the guy, can't he do a composite sketch? That should be easy enough.

The cop thought he saw him, too.

Maybe it's time to buy each employee a taser gun,

and maybe that's overkill

and buy Stamper some balls.

ftw

Don't worry Tom, give NG a description and you'll get a pic of the guy with his guts strewn across the floor within 2 days.

Anywho that really sucks, guess you can't trust anyone. Ask who people are if your not sure in future.

That sucks, and it's messed up. Walk in, go into a room, and rob a PS2. A PS2 isn't as big as an X-Box, but it is still kinda notice-able. And in broad daylight.

Sounds like you need some real muscle in there Tom, Stamper just isn't up to it anymore. What you need is a hard man like Arab_Freak (comes with AK-47).

Nope, not really.

This morning, Stamper, Josh and I were in the office bright and early.

Josh?

It turns out he took the PS2, along with the Street Fighter controllers attached to it and the Street Fighter Anniversary disk that was inside.

They will probably be easily replacable.

At least it will stop Stamper, Jeff and Mindchamber from playing Street Fighter all the time. :)

Ha.

Hmm, secrecy.

That's why I consider myself lucky... He was a tall guy, at least 6'5"... And I haven't been getting to the gym as much as I used to. You like to think your invincible, but he probably would have kicked my ass. At least now I have motivation to get back to the gym.

Forget the gym, you need a GUN! What if you were on a trip (Let's say, to Comic-Con since that is coming up) and some religous freak kidnaps you because he saw a single game where you beat Jesus up. You'd be able to solve the problem right then and there. No fists. No fighting. No problem.

well if you had a Sharps 45-70 people would A) admire at the thing and B) not dare fuck with you. the only problem is that they're very hard to come by, very expensive, and ammo costs a lot. but i garuntee you'll never get robbed again if people know you have one.
