I'm makin an RPG

I am making a RPG, i've got the storyboard and stuff but i need actionscripting help. I will post all my problems i this tread, starting with this:
i've got a MC named Character witch can already walk into 4 directions, but i am working on a code that when CRTL is pressed my mc Character(instance="characterz")shoots another mc called fireball into the direction he's standing. I could use a little help with this.

well ur gonna need to know ALOT of actionscript to pull an rpg off, pimps quest took a year, and it aint even that long. there was a open code of an rpg released a while back, search the flash bbs and have a look at that

the problem with rpgs is the engine (which nobody on here can help you with), with tons of graphics (which nobody wants to help you with). You can do a simple rpg but it probably won't amount to much.

I'd say the best thing for you to do, if you're good with the graphics and story line, is to team up with an Action Scripter or to get an Action Scripting Book. You can go to any local bookstore and buy one. And, my local Library has the books as well so you can check them out so try there as well. You'll be surprised what you can find.

she assumed something, because everytime ive seen a conversation between you two, it always ends in you saying something unneccessary, which basically you dont need to say and she arguing back, she may have said something implying that you might start an argument, but what you said directly after was unfunny, hurtful and uncalled for, no-one laughed.

BTW, whenever you talk to me,you attempt to confuse me with large words because youve noticed im not as old as you are, but i assure you i am not stupid or ignorant. You may use one uncommon word to the english vocabulary once ina while, but when ever you address me its always with uncommon words. if anyones stupid its you for always expecting the people who are younger than you, must always be stupider than you and dont understand a word longer than 8 letters.

anyone that simply says "i am making an rpg" is obviously on drugs because they obviously arent actualy making it and dont have the skills. lesee, i bet 1/100 ppl that say they are making an rpg actually make one.
