A lot of people have been asking me to start a new season of Dailytoons, and I have even recieved several PMs since the PM system was set up asking why we stopped.
So here we go! Another season!
For those who aren't new to Dailytoons, Star Syndicate members organize one collaborated piece every day for 100 episodes, ending the series with a large portal day. Last year, Daily Day 2 was the largest non-annual portal holiday ever on Newgrounds. Our contributors include Denvish, Astropuff, ZekeySpaceyLizard, f00d, rtil, and Aerdail (Jiarbear), along with over a hundred other aspiring animators. This series has been an excellent way for those who are experienced to practice making cartoons without stress, and a great way for those who are new to flash to get into the medium (Aerdail actually began working on Dailytoons when he was relatively new to the program. He is now on the front page!).
So how can you contribute? It's simple! Just make a cartoon at the following specifications:
Width: 550
Height: 400
FPS: 24 (12 is accepted, but not appreciated)
Background: White
Email your cartoon to: DTseason3@gmail.com
We will try to get you into Dailytoons as quickly as possible. However, we recieve cartoons in fluxuating numbers. Sometimes we have shortages, and other times you might have to wait a week before you can see your cartoon in a Dailytoon, so have patience.
We will start this season either tomorrow or July 1st (as we did last year). I haven't decided. In either case, keep sending cartoons!
