I don't know why anyone would want Garageband for Windows, when there are far more capable programs out there. If you feel like cheating, go buy a Mac and throw together something in garageband in about 3 seconds.

A-fucking-HEM!
Do I cheat and throw things together in 3 seconds? I think not. You won't find a single loop in any of my stuff from GarageBand; I just like the interface and have a Mac. And can't afford Logic Pro 7.

I meant to add that this is the case with 90% of the people who use Garageband.

If you can't help, don't post. Simple concept.

I already have FL Studio and Im ok at using that, just not that great at getting the right beats and everything. When Im at college I have to use macs, we were using garageband to make a small track for something. I found garageband was 10 times easier then FL studio. With the keyboard as piano keys thing I could record everything as I went along and I came out with something really good in the shortest amount of time.
With FL studio im always messing around with the piano roll trying to get everything right, I cant tell which notes are which and the beat gets messy and out of place.
Cant FL studio, reason or acid pro record anything the way garageband does?

Impulse Tracker also uses the "keyboard is a piano" style. And it's free. And pretty damn good if you get good samples (which are very googlable) and learn the ropes.

No worries, I tend to get a bit peeved when other people slate GarageBand and/or its users for being crap.
