b) jesus, paragonx9 is good, but have you heard any other the other dnb artists. Tbh i think the dnb scene on newgrounds has got destroyed by people who want to bumlove paragonx9. Because of him people want to sound good, but it means they would sound either similar to him, or have their own unique style which some rum bastard would steal

Yeah, PX9 has kind of pushed NG artists away from DnB and towards "NGnB"

DnB music hereabouts has a lot more trancey/videogamey influences than the "real world"

There is no such thing as the 'best' artist or a 'shit' artist, seeing as these things are based on taste and percieved musicality, take each artist on his or hers own merits, what they are trying to achieve and what they want to explore. Technically all the best artists on here belong to the classical section as they have the best understanding of music theory and all that that entails. and no matter how good you are there is always somebody better than you.

how can i be wrong? i hope its sarcastic what you are saying and please read the whole thing before you make a crap remark like you have, TECHNICALLY, and i stress TECHNICALLY classical composers are the best musicians because most of them have studied theory, they know what makes music work thus they can compose whole orchestras without ever hearing a single instrument, most artists on here tend to do things by ear on a case of what sounds good to them, a process of trial and error and it's not the case with classically trained muso's. Okay, i'll give you a chance, you find me a song that is technically superior to one i chose from the classical section. one that isnt classically trained and we'll see, and i know i will prove myself right.

Despite the fact that a great deal of classical composers have studied theory, a lot of them haven't either; this generalization basically punches itself in the face ^_^;

Oftenfound people who create classical music are having a difficult time trying to create something like, for instance, funk; but like your statement, this punches itself in the face just a like.

My point: Generalization bad, listening to music good ^_^
