I remember back when I was eight wehn I was playing old school nintendo and my Mom and I was having problems with the seventh level. Her aquaintance showed up and went to the back room and closed the door. I didn't know what was going on but I paid no mind to it. After dying a couple of times on that level I finally beat it, feeling very happy about it, I run to my mom's room ready to tell her the news. I open up the door, see my mom on top of a dude, had no idea what was going on, so I closed the door and went on about my business.

She confronted me about what she did, and what it was. I remember to this day what she had said to me, it was something along the lines of "Well, sooner or later you were going to learn about or see sex. It's unavoidable. Oh well." Then she picked back up the controller and we beat the game. Weird night, but unforgettable,

You know what's worse? Hearing your parents (or, in my case, my mom & our roomate - who was sort of her "boyfriend" back then) doing it & there's NOTHING you can do about it when you lived in a single-wide, 1-bedroom trailer that didn't have a door to the bedroom, which was mine. IT SUCKED. Luckily, that scenario doesn't occur anymore: (1) we moved into a 2-bedroom trailer & my room had a door, & (2) they aren't in that sort of relationship anymore. Thank god........^_^
